SEEF LUSAIL INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS

The South Waterfront Commercial and Seef Lusail Infrastructure Works Project comprised various civil works over an area of 12 city hectares including roadworks, stormwater, irrigation, electrical, potable/fire water, telecommunication networks, streetlights, pneumatic waste disposal system, and district cooling networks. Apart from the road works, the project included a bridge structure with free-flowing trough sections forming the underpass. These complex structural shapes were developed using wave form that adapts to the roads’ changing elevations and channel widths. These sections posed casting challenges insofar as conventional framework techniques proved unavailing.
