COLLEGE OF MEDIA & COMMUNICATION

The College of Media and Communications is located in Education City, Doha, Qatar. It was designed to house Northwestern University and is part of Her Highness Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser’s vision for a campus of campuses. The building is organized around a central green-space and expresses journalistic ideals while representing the Qatari landscape. It features the most advanced student production facilities in the world, making it a vibrant center for mass communication and journalism education. The building is divided into three sections: a curved arc, a crescent, and a north bar. The curved arc houses student services and gathering functions, the crescent contains administration and faculty offices, and the north bar features the conference center, production studios, and dining room. The V-VIP suite is located on the fourth level, with a private green roof garden and views of the north campus and Oxygen Park.
